Viva Las Vegas: Packing for a bachelorette trip

In just 24 hours, I’ll be in Sin City with the hottest group around. We are jetting out to Las Vegas for my soon to be sister-in-law’s bachelorette party. I’ve been anticipating this weekend for months and it’s finally here! But as I stepped into my closet this week to muster up some strength to pack, I had come to a crossroads. What in the world was I going to pack to Vegas?!

I hardly have anything Vegas-worthy…let alone something super flashy and extra glamorous.

But as I began pulling out clothes and trying on different combinations, something eventually clicked for me. And you’ll never believe it…I only bought one new sequin shift dress! Everything else was already in my wardrobe.

Here are my four set outfits for our two full days there. Now I am bringing more than four outfits for two other travel days, but those mostly consist of leggings, oversized tees and cardigans.

| Flitting off to Vegas, mimosas on hand |

Although we have an early flight, I’m keeping my outfit comfy, yet stylish because as soon as we land, it’s time for mimosas and slot machines. A jumpsuit is such a great travel piece because it feels like pajamas, yet it’s so chic!

The look:

  • Navy jumpsuit | Cabi 2015 spring collection
  • Kimono | Pacsun
  • Necklace | Selphi Boutique in Hattiesburg
  • Flats | Steve Madden

| Dancing the night away in a black ensemble, pass the champagne please |

We’re all wearing black Friday night, so I decided to keep up the bohemian vibe with a fur vest, high-waist jeans and snakeskin heels. We’re supposedly going to see Calvin Harris at some club this night so I figure this will be a great outfit to move around in all night long.

The look:

  • Infinite fur vest | Cabi 2014 fall collection
  • Black long V tank | Urban Outfitters
  • High-waist black jeans | Urban Outfitters
  • Pendant necklace | Ann Taylor Loft
  • Shoes | Very Volatile

| Lazy days by the pool, Sin City never looked so chic |

Saturday morning and afternoon is all about catching some rays and listening to RL Grime (cross my fingers!) at the beach cub. I’m either going to wear this crop top or this print kimono with these adorable lace beach pants.

The look:

  • Kimono | Urban Outfitters
  • Boho top | Zara
  • Lace pants | Gianna Bini
  • Sandals | Free People

| Flashy in metallic, sequins and fringe |

For our last night there, of course we’re going to go all out Vegas-themed. It’s only appropriate right? And there is something about wearing a sequin/metallic dress that just screams instant glam.

The look:

  • Sequin dress | SoBo boutique in Pensacola
  • Fringe kimono | H&M
  • Cutout wedges | Steve Madden
  • Clutch | Marc by Marc Jacobs

I’ll be in dreamland for two days. Can’t wait to tell ya’ll how amazing it was!
