In a bind: last-minute V-Day outfits

The day of flowers, chocolates and confessions of love are only two days away and you might be scrambling to figure out what to wear.

While red is the first choice for many V-day ensembles, I prefer to step out of the color cliche and experiment with different shades. Spring is just around the corner and I’m craving to slip on pastels, a juicy berry-colored top or white jeans.

So if you’re in a bind this V-day weekend, no fear, these three looks are easy, comfortable and will keep you focusing on the one thing that really matters: your significant other and of course, truffles, wine and…more truffles. 🙂

LOOK No. 1 | Go bohemian

Just because it’s Valentine’s Day doesn’t meet you have to squeeze into a dress that’s too tight or doesn’t fit you! Comfort is key. I prefer the flowy look and this adorable pink romper is cute for day or night with a fringe sweater slung over it.

Look No. 2 | Bundle up in a sweet ensemble

If it’s still chilly where you live, I recommend going for a casual, chic look with this cotton candy pink overcoat paired with destroyed denim. Make your outfit pop with a berry crossbody bag and you’re ready for an unforgettable day with your S.O.

Look No. 3 | Be edgy in the evening

Pair a maroon dress with a leather jacket and you’ve got an outfit for a fancy night with your beau. I love pairing classic pieces like an A-line dress with an edgy piece.

Fancy night out

Whether you are spending Valentine’s day with someone special or solo with your best buds, you’ll be looking fabulous no matter what. I hope everyone has a great weekend filled with sweet memories and love…or it could be filled with a bottle of red wine, cookies and Netflix. That’ll be me. #goals.
