Five on Friday | Feb. 19

Happy weekend lovely readers! I’m headed to Florida this weekend to see my family and attend Kristen’s bridal shower. I can’t believe my brother’s wedding is less than two months away. So many events are coming up that I have been waiting so long for!

At the end of February and beginning of March, look out for the other two parts of my “auditing your closet” series.

Here’s what I’m currently crushing on this week:

“Delish” of the week

This Caprese quinoa bake was a huge success and was full of flavor! I got this recipe from one of my favorite food bloggers, Emerging Adult Eats. She has delicious recipes!

New Target find

Target has the cutest clothes and I snagged this late-winter find over the weekend. This soft sweater dons metallic specks and it’s just a bit oversized. I love it with jeans and boots!

Favorite new run-around saddle bag

I have been eyeing this saddle bag on Free People’s website for months and I finally purchased it. It is so well-made and I love the intricate design on the front. It’s the perfect purse to take to lunch or run errands. I’m in love!

Favorite inspirational quote

This quote really resonates with me because I feel like this new chapter of my life has only just begun. Since graduating college, I have changed so much and believe I have become a better version of myself. When I truly surrendered to God, only then did I find peace and true happiness.

Favorite new book

My growth group (book club) leader, Nicole, lent me this book for the week. I started reaching the first chapter and was hooked. It’s an amazing book about self-discovery and stepping out of your comfort zone with Christ at the forefront. Now I just need to buy my own copy! 🙂

Have a great week everyone!
