Happy April Fools’ Day readers! Will you be pulling any sneaky pranks today? I’m sure I will experience some at work today…I work with a bunch of jokesters. This week was crazy at work with severe weather all hours of the night. Luckily, the worst part of the storms didn’t impact us majorly, so the Pine Belt got a break. But in the midst of all that, I had some great things happen this week.

I relaunched my website with a new design & I want to grow my blog because I’m passionate about writing, connecting with other bloggers and sharing ideas that make up a balanced lifestyle. I really appreciate everyone’s support! It means a lot to me!

Here’s what I’m loving this week:

Kristen & Stephen’s wedding invite

Friday favorites

It’s almost hard to believe my brother’s wedding is a week from today! His fiancee, Kristen, has been a part of our family’s life for so long, and we are just ready to see them get married! Their wedding invites are so elegant and have a twist on traditional invitations.

Birthday surprise

Free People
Free People

I received a Free People gift card for my birthday from my parents and couldn’t wait to finally purchase a couple of my “hearted” items. I received both of them in the mail Thursday and they are gorgeous and fit so well! You can buy this border print collar tunic here (I ordered it in the tea combo shown above) and the rainfall swing maxi (in glass green) here.

First Faithbox

My first Faithbox! This one focuses on the impact we have on our planet and how we should love what God has created for us. My box contained a Lifter CD, yummy granola bar, Resurrection devotions, Renew water bottle, household cleaner organic filter and eco tote bag.

My first ever Faithbox arrived in the mail this week! I was so excited to see what was inside. If you don’t know about Faithbox (or haven’t seen it all over Pinterest), check it out here. It’s an awesome Christian start-up company that finds great products for you while also making an impact around the world. For every box shipped ($20/month), you can provide three meals for a hungry child in a Christian orphanage! I think it’s a wonderful way to make a small impact in other’s lives every month.

Every box has a theme I’m assuming because my box contained all things having to do with loving our planet and appreciating what God has created for us. In order from top left to right, I received a sample CD of Christian songs, Kutoa blueberry almond bar, Resurrection devotional with an Impact guide, an eco-friendly tote, a Renew water bottle and an eco household cleaner filter.

Pretty prints

French Press mornings

I was lucky to discover these wonderful French Press Morning prints on Etsy this week. I plan on buying a few for my apartment as simple reminders of a beautiful life guided by God. I love this verse in the book of Proverbs! The creator, Jenny Stewart, also makes adorable coffee mugs and notepads. Check it out her beautiful work here.

Hilarious video

So basically, this video has been the cause for constant laughter in the newsroom. It’s absolutely hilarious and you can’t help but watch it over and over again until you’re in stitches.

Have a great weekend, everyone! I’m taking it easy before the big celebration next weekend. Make sure to subscribe to my weekly posts on the right sidebar on the homepage!
