Fashion Friday: White denim & floral blouse

Fashion Friday: White denim & floral blouse

On the first day of spring, I couldn’t wait to pull out my white dresses, tops and pants. Especially white denim. My favorite spring outfit by far are these crisp, white pair of cropped jeans and a relaxed button-down blouse.

If you’re like me, white jeans are incredibly hard to find. The fit, style and even the transparency (ahem, full coverage) have to be perfect. I’ll admit, sometimes a white pair of jeans can make me look like a marshmallow…and there’s nothing stylish about that.

But, of course, Cabi came to the rescue this spring and made a gorgeous pair of white crop skinnies! They elongate even the curviest legs, and the cropped hem is chic and on-trend for spring/summer 2017. I’m also obsessing over this Matinee Top with its subtle floral print and oversized fit. I paired it with some neutral heeled sandals and gold jewelry.

And while we’re on the subject of denim, I’m also pining over these boyfriend jeans from Madewell. I plan to add them to my spring/summer wardrobe basics.

Speaking of basics, I will continue part 3 of “How to create a wardrobe with great basics” next week. I apologize for leaving ya’ll hanging! If you haven’t read, here are parts one and two.

Just a side note: I’ve been M.I.A. for about two weeks. My family and I have had some personal struggles, and life honestly just got the best of me. Prayers are much appreciated during this time. But, I’m excited to be back on the blog, and my mind is just churning with creativity right now. I have a lot of exciting things coming up, including a family trip to the British Virgin Islands and hunting for a new apartment!
