Fashion Friday: Chic lounge wear separates

It’s Friday! But first, your daily dose of fashion.

Spring is already here in Mississippi, but I’m hoping some cool weather returns before all the flowers begin to bloom. My style has changed a lot over the years, but the one style I never get tired of is comfortable and chic lounge wear. Comfy tees and leggings are, thank goodness, socially acceptable for running around during the day. And what’s even better? Throw on some cute ankle booties and a necklace and you’re ready for dinner.

This lounge wear look is one of my favorites. I’m drawn to the calming blue hues painted on the slouchy tee and the long sweater vest. A great contrast to pair them with is some black or gray leggings. I finished the look off with a cognac ankle boot, but flats would also do just fine.

Comfy pieces that make me look polished, yet effortless at the same time are a pivotal part of my every day wardrobe. Don’t get me wrong, I adore fitted A-line skirts and printed blouses, but I wouldn’t dub them as my go-to uniform!

The slouchy sky blue tee and the long sweater vest is from Cabi’s 2016 fall collection. They are some of my favorite wardrobe pieces for colder months.

Hope you have a great weekend! I’m heading home to Pensacola for the weekend to help my mom out with a Cabi show. What better way to kick off the weekend than with Cabi & mimosas?

And remember:

Relax. And enjoy the journey you’re on.
