Greek yogurt is great staple to have in one’s fridge. It’s healthy and versatile and there are countless recipes you can use it in from sauces to substitutes for sour cream and mayo. But one disadvantage to buying the good ‘ole non-fat plain Greek yogurt is the flavor and thickness. I don’t know if everyone’s on board with this, but the regular flavor is quite bitter and the thickness is almost too thick for my style.
So after figuring out what to do with this huge tub of yogurt in my fridge, I decided to experiment and add other ingredients to it like peanut butter, honey and almond milk to tone down its toughness. This recipe is delicious and great for breakfast or an afternoon snack to curb one’s hunger pains. One can also double the recipe and serve it as a sweet appetizer for a party with apples or pretzels.
