The Damsel Money Diaries: Week 2

The Damsel Money Diaries: Week 2

Welcome back, readers! I am done with my second week of money tracking and overall, I don’t think it was too bad. I did have a lot of urges to spend money where I shouldn’t….meaning Anthropologie had a summer tag sale. I was so close to buying a shirtdress I’ve been wanting, but I refrained. Oh, the willpower!

*I was way over budget on groceries this week but I take into account that the groceries I bought on Saturday are for this upcoming week. Also, I’m going to be out of town the next two weekends, so I won’t have to buy as much.

What I learned this week: I think I did awesome this week! I am so much more aware of what I’m spending when I’m tracking it every week. I could have splurged on a few more items, but I decided to hold off until my next paycheck. I plan to save $200 from this week!

How are you saving money this week? I’d love to hear your tips!
