On the first day of spring, I couldn’t wait to pull out my white dresses, tops and pants. Especially white denim. My favorite spring outfit by far are these crisp, white pair of cropped jeans and a relaxed button-down blouse.
This week, it’s all about connecting your wardrobe to your lifestyle. Your basics are the foundation of your wardrobe, so they should reflect what you do most often, whether it be at the office, at home with the kids or traveling every weekend.
The first thing to do is a lifestyle breakdown. Think about your daily/weekly activities. Check your planner if that helps too. Where do you spend most of your time?
It’s Friday! But first, your daily dose of fashion.
Spring is already here in Mississippi, but I’m hoping some cool weather returns before all the flowers begin to bloom. My style has changed a lot over the years, but the one style I never get tired of is comfortable and chic lounge wear. Comfy tees and leggings are, thank goodness, socially acceptable for running around during the day. And what’s even better? Throw on some cute ankle booties and a necklace and you’re ready for dinner.
The future is full of uncertainties — job changes, new or broken relationships, financial strains. And whether it is an exciting change or a stressful one, it can really wear you down and rob your daily happiness.
Anxiety has taken over my mind lately. My heart beats faster just thinking about the future and all the unknowns it will bring. I’ve thought about it so much to the point of mental exhaustion. Why can’t I just let things go and hope for the best? You absolutely should, but you should also know that someone is playing a part in your small universe.
